Afnan N. Shukry
Afnan represents personal injury victims and survivors of sexual abuse and misconduct. Since becoming barred in 2020, Afnan has been able to help her clients secure significant settlements for their injuries, including in the seven and eight figure range.
Afnan earned her bachelors from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She graduated as a triple-major in Political Science, Arabic, and Middle East and North African Studies. Afnan then earned her juris doctorate from the King Hall School of Law at the University of California, Davis. While there, she wrote and was an editor for the Journal of Juvenile Law and Policy, and she was an editor for the Business Law Journal. Afnan was also a student advocate at the UC Davis Civil Rights Clinic providing pro-bono representation for inmates suffering from civil rights violations.
Before launching her own practice, Afnan worked at plaintiff-side law firms, Kermani LLP and Taylor & Ring.
